Water Distribution Project: Quenching Thirsts, Saving Lives
Our Water Distribution Project in Gaza is a vital initiative closely linked to our Deep Water Well Project, which has made significant strides in addressing the region’s water crisis.
Building on the success of our Deep Water Well Project (2021–2022), where nine fully functional deep water wells were installed in refugee camps across Gaza, we launched a complementary water distribution effort to ensure consistent access to clean and safe drinking water for families in need.
The deep water wells serve as the backbone of this initiative, supplying fresh water to distribution points strategically placed to reach at least 5,000 to 8,000 families per well. By utilizing the infrastructure of these wells, we’ve been able to extend our efforts, making clean water more accessible to vulnerable communities who previously faced acute shortages.
Impact Highlights:
- The water distribution network ensures that water from the wells is transported efficiently and safely to families who rely on it for their daily needs.
- By addressing both the availability and delivery of clean water, the project has contributed to improving overall sanitation and living conditions for refugee families.
This initiative would not have been possible without the continued support of our donors and partners, whose contributions enable us to respond effectively to the critical needs of the people in Gaza. Together, we are creating sustainable solutions to alleviate the water crisis and restore dignity to those affected.
